HP Unveils Android Tablet HP Slate 7 - makes computing easy while on the go

History of HP Tablet and Handheld Devices


HP founded in garage at Palo Alto California in 1939 with starting capital of 538 dollars. HP's very first product was a precision audio oscillator, the Model HP200A. That time HP produce electronic till the year 1966 where HP entered the computer market with the HP 2100 / HP 1000 series of minicomputers. This computing machine models id somewhat similarly to the Intel x86 architecture. But, today another history to be made. HP is entering the tablet PC scene once again with its first very Android tablet, the HP Slate 7. However, HP is not a new player with handheld devices, on later year HP introduces its iPAQ h4150 Pocket PC that was late 2003 and followed by an iPAQ 112 Pocket PC, 2008.

The HP Slate 7, as the name suggests and an affordable Android Jelly Bean consumer tablet that provides customers with easy access to Google Mobile services.The HP Slate 7 comes with a 7 inches FFS+ LCD display monitor with a screen resolution of 1024 by 600.

HP Slate 7 is powered by dual core ARM Cortex A9 processor at 1.6 GHz internal clock speed. It is supported by 1GB of RAM memory to ensure user a great computing experience with handheld device. Also, with 8 GB of internal storage, users comes to store more files and apps with micro SD card support.



Camera and Video


For taking pictures with friends, family, and priceless events, the HP Slate 7 Android Tablet PC comes with a 3 megapixel rear camera. However, in some cases video calls and conference become unpredictable, that is why,  your HP Slate 7 Tablet is equipped with a VGA front-facing camera, enough to deliver video's on other channel without lag.

For entertainment, the HP Slate 7 Android Tablet is bundled with stereo speakers and Beats Audio, it delivers crystal clear sounds

Also, HP Slate 7 comes with Android 4.1 Jellybean out of the box and HP’s ePrint technology for easy wireless printing with compatible HP printers.


All those specs are housed in a stainless steel chassis that’s 10.7mm thick and weighs 363g. and be available starting April this year. I think tomorrow HP also, comes with Home Appliances too.
