Facts About Intel Retail Edge Badges, Status, & Points

Your Status Level says a lot about you and what you know about Intel. Work hard, and you can move up through the three levels—Advisor, Expert, and Guru. For each Status Level you achieve, you gain more and more recognition for your knowledge and success.

Please note! You are currently assigned Advisor status, but you won’t be able to move up until training's are assigned to each level. We’ll be releasing training's into the different status levels over the next several months so keep checking back!

Advisor Status Level

This is everybody’s starting point. Learn the ropes by taking your Advisor training's and Final Exam. When you score 80% or better on both, you’ll earn Advisor Status Level—and recognition as a sales professional on your way up.

Expert Status Level

When customers walk in the door, they want to talk with an expert. That can be you if you pass the challenging Expert training's and Final Exam with scores of 80% or better. You’ll learn advanced sales techniques and gain a solid understanding of advanced technologies.

Guru Status Level

There are lots of salespeople, but only a few have the dedication and know-how to become Gurus. To achieve this highest Status Level, you have to pass the very challenging Guru training's and Final Exam at 80% or better.

When you become a Guru, you’ll receive rewards and special opportunities. And, best of all, you’ll be recognized as a trusted advisor to customers and a leader in our community.

Final Exam Details

You can retake Final Exams up to three times. If you don’t score 80% in those three tries, you’ll need to retake any training's for that level that you passed at less than 100%. Then you’ll be able to retake the Final Exam again.

If you fail your Final Exam after a second round of attempts, you won’t earn a Badge. You will be able to take the next level of training's, but you won’t be able to earn additional Badges or move up in Status Level. You’ll be required to wait three months to retake the training's and Final Exam for the Status Level you originally failed.
