The first model of Canon EOS 7D camera is very good camera. However, if it's noise performance is being improved the better experience is promising. Because, with my Canon EOS 7D noise performance is unacceptable for me with ISO above 800, if It’s keep the same performance, I think it’s still useless even it can burst at 20FPS. And I think Canon EOS 7D Mark II camera is an improved version of late Canon EOS 7D.

First spec list in a long time

We received our first spec list for a Canon EOS 7D Mark II (we’re calling it that for now) from a known source in a while this weekend. Most people are now saying that this camera is probably being announced at the end of summer, with availability almost right away like the EOS 5D Mark III.

It was also mentioned that their could be as many as 3 prototype configurations of the camera out there, and this one of them.

Canon EOS 7D Mark II Specifications and review

Here are the Canon EOS 7D Mark II rumored specs:

24.1mp APS-C Sensor

Dual DIGIC V

10 Frame per Second (fps)

Dual Memory Card Slots (Unknown configuration)

61 AF Points (I wonder if we’ll get red focus points in AIS?)

3.2″ LCD

Build quality like 5D3

GPS & Wifi

ISO Performance to get close to the 5D3

“Lots of video features”

The 7D Mark II will basically be a mini EOS-1D X, so the price is a little higher than the current 7D. Also, EOS 7D Mark II rumored to have a 21MP sensor, 10 fps, Dual Digic 5+, ISO 100-25600, should be announced in February and ship in April.

EOS 7D Mark II rumored to have a Digic 6 CPU, a new sensor design with more than 20MP, and to be announced in late spring. The new sensor design said to be featured also on the fabled 3D with >50MP. The 3D set be announced in late 2013-early 2014

As we’ve been told before, this camera will basically be a mini EOS-1D X, and with that, comes a price increase. It was also stressed that about the only spec that may change is the sensor, as they have a few APS-C sensors available. I wonder about the megapixel count, though if Canon gets back to making industry leading sensors, I have no doubt 24mp could be a real winner. Also, a reviews and rumored about Canon EOS 70D DSLR Camera.
